Why somaé?
The pause was always available. In a bath, in a breath, in the space
before you speak. We built a companion for it.
Our home is New York. Our materials come from Japan, where craft meets
some of the world's most rigorous manufacturing standards. Our mineral
maker traces its salt-making heritage back more than four centuries.
Guided by the Japanese concept of Ma, we created somaé to protect that
pause in an everyday ritual.
